ヴォーカリスト。
2014年頃より、野外から劇場空間まで幅広い場で体ひとつで歌うことから活動を始める。歌うことの行為や現象としての側面を浮き彫りにするパフォーマンスや、歌と語りを織り交ぜた楽曲の演奏、景色を即興的に歌と詩にしていく「見て呼ぶ」と名付けた手法を用いた詩作、特殊発声を多用した即興演奏などをおこなう。
2019年に半年間のインドネシア滞在をきっかけに即興演奏を始め、歌・語り・ヴォイスの演奏を織り交ぜた長編の歌『触角が無限にのびる虫』(2020)の発表を経て、2022年からは自作曲の弾き語りを中心に活動中。2023年、宮坂遼太郎・樋渡直と共にバンド・ガラグアを始動。
音楽・舞台芸術・美術などの作家とのコラボレーションワークも多く、近年は、岡千穂、東郷清丸(匚、彡)、マテリアルショップ・カタルシスの岸辺、今尾拓真、涌田悠、三野新らと協働。2024年、1st アルバム『きらきらするすべて』をリリース。



Aoi Tagami, born 27/Feb/1994 in Hyogo Prefecture,Japan, is a vocal artist.

Since 2014, Aoi Tagami has been performing using only her voice and body in a variety of spaces, from outdoor venues to theaters. Her work includes performances that highlight singing as both an act and a phenomenon, songs that blend singing and spoken word, poetry created through her "Seeing and Calling" method of improvising from the surroundings, and improvisational performances using unique vocal techniques.
In 2019, she began performing improvisational music during a six-month stay in Indonesia. After releasing the long song "A Forever Growing Antenna froma One on the Ground" (2020), a blend of singing, narration, and voice, she began focusing on her original songs and solo performances in 2022. In 2023, she formed the band "Galagua" with Ryotaro Miyasaka and Sunao Hiwatari.

She frequently collaborates with artists across music, theater, and visual arts, including Chiho Oka, Kiyomaru Togō (匚, 彡), Material Shop KATAKISHI, Takuma Imao, Haruka Wakuta, and Arata Mino. Her first album, "Everything That Sparkles," was released in 2024.
